Having failed to bag the Miss Q & A crown not too long ago is something that Elsa doesn’t regret. Out of the spotlight, she still gets to wear one, one that can never be taken away by somebody else: her faith in herself for all who she is. While she may not be the most beautiful nor the most articulate woman out there, “Elsa D. is Elsa D.“.

Unless of course, she gets offered by “Rated K” a once in a lifetime makeover, to which she automatically said yes to. After all, who here doesn’t want to feel beautiful about themselves? After Xander Ford’s jaw-dropping transformation last year, the “It’s Showtime” beauty queen gave it a try — a series of cosmetic procedures starting from microblading to her first-ever appointment to the dentist.

Elsa is proud to wear her new look. However, there’s a reason why she chose to join the “Miss Q & A” among other beauty pageants.

“Sabi ko sa sarili ko, hindi ko kailangang baguhin yung sarili ko. Dahil kung sino ako, kung ano yung minahal sa ‘kin ng tao, ‘yun pa rin ako. Elsa [D] is Elsa [D]. Mananatiling ako po ‘yun. Okay na po ako dito, Ma’am [Korina Sanchez].”

Prior to hit segment, Elsa has tried her luck on the Miss Gay Pangkalawakan 2016. Though she failed in both endeavors, people recognize her for her comedic chops and surprisingly witty answers. Her Resbek against Kristine Ibardolaza, herself a clever one, last June will forever go down in history.
