A certain plastic surgeon named Dr. Alexander De Leon is currently facing a huge controversy after two of his previous patients took to Raffy Tulfo’s TV show to seek justice over a failed nose surgery and for not getting their money’s worth.
According to one of the patients, it was in 2014 when Dr. Alexander De Leon performed the nose surgery in a clinic in Ortigas. However, after the surgery, she noticed that something’s wrong because there’s a lump on a part of her nose and she noticed that it’s not aligned properly.
When she returned to the clinic to get her nose fixed, she was surprised because she was asked to pay for another 25,000 for the doctor to fix her nose, to think that she had already paid him 75,000-80,000 Pesos on the first surgery.

“Tapos nag inquiry po ako sa kanya ng mga ilang years sabi ko tabingi, sabi niya sakin punta nalang sa clinic niya. ‘Di ko naman po expected na magbabayad ako uli sa panibago. Akala ko uulitin niya lang nang walang bayad.”
to get the justice that they needed because of the failed nose surgery, the patient took to social media to slam the plastic surgeon. However, they were surprised to receive a letter from the lawyer of the plastic surgeon, threatening to file a lawsuit if the post was not taken down and if they don’t issue a public apology.
Raffy Tulfo then called the doctor to seek for the story on his side. Dr. De Leon then told Raffy that the surgery was done four years ago and who knows what had happened to her in between those years. It was then when Raffy Tulfo asked him if the surgery that he had performed has an expiration date.

Sir Raffy Tulfo then sought help from a professor of the FEU-Institute of Law named Atty. Paul Cornelius Castillo, asking him what the patients should do because of what they had experienced in the hands of the plastic surgeon.
According to Atty. Castillo, it is the plastic surgeon’s rights to file a lawsuit if he believes that his reputation was ruined because of the post on social media, but of course, the patients will be given the chance to defend themselves if they know that they had clean intentions when they posted such thing online.

Still, in the end, when Raffy Tulfo asked him what he will be doing to settle the case with these patient and the other 30 patients, the plastic surgeon simply stated that all he wishes for them is to stop posting anything on social media that could ruin someone else’s reputation.
