But what if this simple, menial task was done by someone as sosy and elegant as Gretchen Barretto? Well, a viral video clip showed us a step-by-step video of how to wash the dishes the Greta way!

Gretchen recently uploaded this amusing video clip as she washed the kitchenware she used at a friend’s place. The video included the caption:

“Our dearest [at]albertavellana hosted an afternoon of fun, music & drinks at his lovely/ artsy home. I had to do the dishes.”

Many netizens complimented the Filipina actress for showing how humble she was despite her fame and social status. Some were even shocked that Gretchen Barretto knew how to wash the dishes as if she’s done them her whole life!

Although the 48-year-old actress seemed to be happy with her extravagant way of living, Gretchen and her friends were recently bombarded with criticisms and hateful comments after they were caught laughing at someone’s letter asking for financial help.

We know that Gretchen Barretto generously grants people’s wishes which is sent to her via letters. She then uploads photos of these good deeds on Instagram. But one particular letter made the actress and her friends burst out to tears from laughter.

The letter contained many grammatical errors which caused them to laugh out loud. Netizens immediately slammed the celebrity and her friends, saying how arrogant the group behaved. The actress later on apologized to the letter sender and took responsibility of her actions.

Luckily for them, the sender admitted that she had poorly written the letter and that she actually laughed as she watched the video of the three. But even though the sender says it was okay, many people still stressed Gretchen’s behavior and said that she should not act that way for she must be a role model to others.
