Nowadays, television, radio, and social media are bombarded with negative news about modus and other victims of people who are trying to take advantage of their fellow citizen. Somehow, this kind of news is creating trauma and panic among citizens who are now having a hard time trusting the people around them.
But this honest restaurant cook will surely restore your faith in humanity after he personally turned-over a wallet containing a huge stash of cash.
According to Masa Garden Restaurant cook Beltram Cerujano, he saw the wallet containing P29,000 worth of cash and some IDs and cards at the restaurant parking lot near the trash bin.
Beltram said he felt a rush on his spine upon seeing the huge amount of money, but instead of being selfish and taking the money home for himself, he turned it over to the radio program of veteran broadcaster Raffy Tulfo who, later on, have located the owner, Cyril Diaz.
It turned out that Cyril and his friends dine at the restaurant where Beltram works and didn’t notice that he lost his wallet in the parking lot. The owner then expressed gratitude to the honest cook who returned his hard-earned money.
Because of his honesty, Tulfo rewarded Beltram with cash and other gift packs.
